Spiritual Practices Retreats 2018-2019

The terms "spiritual practices" or "spiritual disciplines" are actually foreign to many Christians. Our Christian spiritual habits or routines (practices or disciplines) are intended to be life-giving, drawing us nearer to our Triune God, to our true selves, and to others. However, for many, engaging in spiritual practices that were once spiritually nourishing such as Bible study, prayer, church attendance, or communion can eventually evolve into mere checklists of "oughts" and "shoulds" with little to no spiritual life giving sustenance. Not that we are to forego such practices. However, there are many other holy rhythms or practices that believers can engage in to support continued intimacy with God and Christian spiritual growth. Jesus practiced many, such as silence and solitude, simplicity, celebration, discernment, lament, practicing God's presence, to name a few.

These Christian Spiritual Practices retreats are intended to infuse new life into your spiritual journey. Each monthly retreat focuses on a single Christian spiritual discipline to learn more about and to "practice." These mini-retreats are offered on the third Friday of every month from 9:30-11:30 during the months of September to April, 2018-2019, with the exception of December which will be held on the second Friday of that month. Location is in Centennial near the crossroads of Arapahoe and Quebec.

All of my retreats have a unique blend of teaching and direction weaved between experiential time where each retreatant has a prayer station to safely engage the retreat's focus alone with God.

Cost

Each individual Spiritual Practices retreat is $40.

Refund Policy

Once the first Spiritual Practices retreat occurs on Friday, September 21st, 2018, there are no refunds for the discounted package retreats rate.

For individual monthly retreat sign ups, there are no refunds 72 hours prior to each retreat. 50% refunds are offered up to one week prior to each individual retreat.
